RULES & CONDITIONS
Points for the U Series of Poker Player of the Series are determined by two key factors:
The total prize pool of each eligible event.
The corresponding buy-in category for each event.
The Player of the Series accolade is awarded to the player who accumulates the highest POS points throughout the tournament series. In the event of a tie in points, the following tiebreaker system applies, in order of priority:
Most Titles: The player with the highest number of tournament victories during the series gains the advantage.
Most Final Tables: If a tie persists, the number of final tables reached is considered. Only results that qualify for POS points are counted.
Most “In The Points”: If still tied, the frequency of finishing “In The Money” (ITM) is evaluated, reflecting consistent high performance beyond just making final tables.
The U Series of Poker reserves the right to implement additional tiebreaking mechanisms if necessary and will administer them fairly and reasonably. All decisions are final.
To earn POS points, an event must have a minimum of 10 entries, and players must finish In The Money (ITM).
Specialized events are scored as follows:
Heads-Up Events: Points for 5th–8th place are averaged when, for example, 4 players are eliminated from the last 8.
Tag Team Events: Both players receive points corresponding to their shared placement.
Ineligible Events: Invitational events or those with restrictions based on sex, age, or other criteria do not count toward POS points.
