Points for the U Series of Poker Player of the Year 2025/26 are accumulated from each qualified series.

The first qualifying series is USOP x Japan Gold Dragon Osaka, held from 2–8 October 2025, and points accumulation concludes on 30 November 2026.

The Player of the Year accolade is awarded to the player who amasses the highest POS points across all qualified events. In the event of a tie, the following tiebreaker system applies in order of priority:

1. Most Titles: The player with the highest number of tournament victories during the year gains the advantage.

2. Most Final Tables: If a tie remains, the number of final tables reached is considered. Only results that qualify for POS points count.

3. Most “In The Points”: If still tied, the frequency of finishing “In The Money” (ITM) is assessed, reflecting consistent high performance beyond just reaching final tables.

U Series of Poker reserves the right to implement additional tiebreaking mechanisms if necessary and will administer them fairly and reasonably. All decisions are final.
